As the spring season awakens in the US, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars took a moment to reveal a collection of Bespoke commission of vibrant colour with the arrival of a beautiful commission of Cullinan in Rolls-Royce Bright Red. This Cullinan creation is the first of eight colourful Cullinans created by the Bespoke Creative at Goodwood, Home of Rolls-Royce. Colour development is a careful process that requires a careful eye and an immense amount of patience. At the same time, colour is the most outward expression of a commission.
“We wanted to give our clients the chance to see and be inspired by colours that had been developed previously through the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Design department but may not have seen the light of day through this limited run Bespoke Collection,” said Will Vetter, Product Manager for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Americas. Vetter added “When a designer takes cues from the world around us or even a client’s vision, the process to make it into a reality on a Rolls-Royce is complicated, complex with painstaking precision and sometimes unexpected delightful results.”
The ‘Colours of Cullinan Collection’ includes eight Rolls-Royce Cullinans. The first four have been received in the United States led by Cullinan in Rolls-Royce Bright Red. Upcoming commissions come in Paradiso Blue, Dark Olive and Selby Grey. The collection will be completed with the imminent reception of Cullinan finished in Peacock Blue, Bright Green, Forge Yellow and Plum which are currently in the final stages of development and production. Some of these creations are destined for their homes with Rolls-Royce clients in the United States, while some will be used by the brand as examples to inspire even more personal creations.
The colour experts of the Design Collective at Goodwood await the collaboration of more clients in developing even more vibrant and personal colours for Rolls-Royce lovers to enjoy.
As with all Rolls-Royce dealerships, clients can start their own Bespoke commission by visiting their local Rolls-Royce Motor Cars authorised dealership to start their own creative journey.
